| Dear Church Family,
As you are well aware, I have a passion for our young people; and one of the ways I believe that we are able to anchor them in the church is to empower them to lead while they're young. A few weeks back, Christopher Robinson, one of our AlphaPraise worship participants, came to me with the idea of partnering with Amiel Lewis, our interim worship director, to host a Night of Worship at our church on Sabbath, July 19, 2025. This night will create a space for a variety of musicians and singers, young and old, to share their talents while worshiping God. Friends, I have to tell you, I couldn't be more proud of Christopher and his passion for Jesus and music. So, go ahead and RSVP today by clicking the following link - Night of Worship - July 19th 2025. You don't want to miss this event as I trust that you will be blessed through a spirit-filled evening of worship and word. I look forward to seeing you there.
Sincerely, Pastor Michael |

| This year’s Easter performance was a powerful live portrayal of Jesus’s crucifixion, bringing the story to life with stirring emotion and heartfelt dedication. The dramatic retelling, which featured expressive music, vivid acting, and powerful symbolism, was enjoyed by all. The performance included Roman soldiers, scenes of Jesus’ suffering, and portrayals of individuals weighed down by life’s burdens—poignantly performed by children. The blend of adult and child participation created a multi-generational representation of the Easter message, and the impact was deeply felt throughout the congregation. Carter, who portrayed Jesus, had His heartfelt performance, along with others, that helped to draw the congregation closer to the emotional reality of Christ’s sacrifice. The performance not only showcased the talent and effort of the congregation but also reflected the deep spiritual meaning of Easter. Through tears and quiet reflection, the message of hope, sacrifice, and redemption touched everyone present, leaving a lasting impression of gratitude and reverence for the significance of Christ’s resurrection. |

| "The play was SO powerful. Every adult I've spoken with teared up. The kids did an amazing job, and I know it's such hard work from our children's ministry leaders! I so appreciate them both." Michelle Jones |

| | This past weekend, our valiant band of nearly 15 joined the GCC Pathfinders to form a formidable group of almost 1900. Amidst the gentle quarrels of rain and sun, the young Pathfinders did gather in the wooded glades for a time most blessed. Though the heavens wept in fitful bursts, the hearts of our youth were not easily dampened, but rather rose like the dawn—undaunted, unwavering, and full of cheer. Beneath dripping leaves and cloud-laced skies, laughter rang, and joy flourished. Within the hustle and humidity, they found solace and joy in the river and lake, as they splashed, paddled, and rejoiced; their spirits mirroring the liveliness of the flowing waters. Even greater were the moments when many of the 1900, with solemn joy, entered that same lake not to play but to be baptized. Here friendships were forged like iron in flame, and encounters divine that stirred both soul and spirit. The days were filled with noble pursuits, as eager hands took to crafts and challenges, earning honors and learning skills that kindle both mind and heart. Verily, it was a gathering of light and laughter, of trials met and blessings multiplied—a weekend not merely remembered but etched upon the soul like scripture upon stone. |
