Greetings, church family!

As we embark on a new year, there are many exciting and important ministry opportunities we could invest ourselves in. That being said, there is one work of supreme importance for which I need your help.

Over the past year, we have been praying for the Holy Spirit to move 24 hearts toward making a decision for Christ. God has answered our prayers, but our work is not finished. How can you help? I’m glad you asked.

We are in need of 25 volunteers to serve as spiritual mentors for those who have committed their lives to Jesus. What does that involve? It's really not that difficult. As you know, once someone makes a decision for Christ, challenges arise that they could never foresee.

With that in mind, your first step in this role is to connect with your spiritual mentee and get to know them a little. Secondly, commit to regularly praying for and with them, and checking in on them—just as a friend would. Lastly, and this is a bonus, join our leadership team in praying for 25 new decisions for Christ in 2025. That’s it!

• Reflect & Look Forward: Write down positive memories each month and add them to a Memory Jar (e.g., good report card, play role).

• New Year Goals: Create and decorate a poster with family goals, then hang it up as a reminder.

• Family Worship: Set a regular schedule and post it on the fridge.

• Scripture Memorization: Choose a verse to memorize as a family using fun methods like daily reading or listening to verses.

• Celebrate Success: Celebrate when everyone can recite a verse and review with 3x5 cards.
