Our Pastor

From the start, Pastor Williams has worked closely with the Alpharetta Adventist Church, and was there for our first service on June 11, 2005. He officially became our Pastor in December 2006 when the Conference created a brand new, stand-alone district for Alpharetta and the All Nations church in Norcross. Both churches experienced growth, and in June of 2016 Rusty Williams became the full-time Pastor of the Alpharetta Adventist Church.

Pastor Williams brings a wealth of knowledge, skills and energy to our young church, and helps us move forward as we work with God to build this church family in Alpharetta. We feel very blessed to have him!

Following his conversion, Rusty Williams returned to school at Southern College of Seventh-day Adventists graduating Cum Laude in 1993 with a B.A. in Religion Ministerial and a minor in Biblical Languages. While at Southern he received the ‘Excellence in Biblical Greek award’. Rusty continued his education at Andrews University Theological Seminary where he received his Master of Divinity in 1995.

Upon completion of his education, Rusty pastored for 11 years in the Georgia-Cumberland Conference, prior to his coming to the Alpharetta & All Nations Churches in 2006. One of his passions is participating in short term mission projects, which have taken him to Russia, India and Tanzania. Rusty enjoys model rocketry, muscle cars, home repairs, climbing lighthouses, and hiking to waterfalls.
