SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISTS ACCEPT THE BIBLE AS THE ONLY SOURCE OF OUR BELIEFS. WE CONSIDER OUR MOVEMENT TO BE THE RESULT OF THE PROTESTANT CONVICTION SOLA SCRIPTURA—THE BIBLE AS THE ONLY STANDARD OF FAITH AND PRACTICE FOR CHRISTIANS.
Currently, Adventists hold 28 fundamental beliefs that can be organized into six categories—the doctrines of God, man, salvation, the church, the Christian life and last day events. In each teaching, God is the architect, who in wisdom, grace and infinite love, is restoring a relationship with humanity that will last for eternity.
Pastor Michael has served in pastoral ministry throughout Michigan, Colorado, and Washington over the past ten years. Before being called to ministry, Michael worked in the business sector for the better part of a decade—specializing in the area of marketing. His greatest passion is sharing how Jesus changed his life and gave him purpose. He and his wife, Shila, love connecting with others over a hike, a meal, or a game night. Michael is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Ministry – Leadership program at Andrews University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Tennessee – Chattanooga and a Master of Divinity from Andrews University.
